A graduate of the Caribbean School of Architecture in Jamaica and Oxford Brookes University in the United Kingdom, Chris has over 25 years professional experience in Architecture, Urban Design and Project Management.
His work has taken him throughout the Caribbean and to the USA, where he now resides. Chris’ work has been recognized through several awards that include the ABEL Bestcrete awards for the FIFA U17 World Cup Football Stadium; the National Carnival Centre; and recently the winner of the Government of Jamaica Houses of Parliament design competition.
Chris is a member of the Houston AIA Urban Design Forum, West Houston Chamber of Commerce – Business & Education Committee, Committee Member of the Alief Independent School District 2021 Bond Election, Juror for the Caribbean School of Architecture MA2 classes of 2020, 2021 & 2022, former Executive of the Trinidad and Tobago Institute of Architects (TTIA) and former Chair for the Contracts Committee in drafting the updated TTIA Standard Form of Construction Contract.
Chris is a Sr. Associate & Project Manager at Ziegler Cooper Architects, leading the Education section of the Worship, Education and Community Studio.
He was a partner with Design Collaborative Associates Ltd and led and/or held pivotal roles on several notable projects in Trinidad, including the Government Campus Plaza, Chancery Lane Mixed Use Complex, Princes Court Office, COSTTAT at Bretton Hall, Albion Plaza, the Port of Spain Waterfront Master Plan Study, and the Trinidad Rapid Rail Station Designs.
