Port of Spain City Tour

Tuesday 9th August 10.00 am to 3.00 pm

What better way to capture a ‘snapshot’ of our rich history and culture than through this picturesque tour of the capital city of Port of Spain! Dating back to the 1940s, this tour is a journey through time to the present day, that includes an in-city and peripheral tour of 19th and 20th-century historical points of interest and buildings such as Fort San Andres, the Trinity Cathedral, The Red House, Hall of Justice, National Public Library and the Brian Lara Promenade.

The tour continues to remarkable architecturally preserved sites that include castles and mansions that surround the renowned Queen’s Park Savannah, also recognised as ‘the largest roundabout’ in the world. Encircled by the Queen’s Royal College, Gingerbread Houses, Royal Botanical Gardens, Stollmeyer’s Castle, National Museum, and the residences of the President and Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, amongst many other buildings, what an opportunity to experience the home and stage of the ‘Greatest Show on Earth’:  Carnival!

Towering above the city skyline, the tour will take you to modern structural designs that defy limits, embedded in our Twin Towers Financial Centre, Waterfront Buildings, and the National Academy for the Performing Arts. The true splendour of the tour will conclude at the Lady Young Lookout where aerial views and breath-taking photo opportunities await you!
